Aboriginal Engagement Officer (50D)
About the role
This is a full-time, maximum-term opportunity providing parental leave cover from 2 November 2026 to 28 July 2028.
You will work as part of a team delivering engagement activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and stakeholders in the City of Canning. You will have the opportunity to join Elders and traditional custodians to learn Noongar culture and share your knowledge (as culturally appropriate). A key part of your role includes yarning with a broad range of people. You will work closely with the Coordinator Community Capacity to inform the delivery of the City’s reconciliation actions, so if you’re interested, please read on to see if this opportunity is for you.
Please note: Aboriginality is a genuine requirement for this position as defined under section 50 (D) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.

$90,708.38 to $98,855.49 per annum + super.
