CBS is seeking to appoint an Executive Manager Workforce and Capability reporting directly to the CEO. Based in Moonah, the role will provide high level expertise and leadership advice and will be responsible for leading the Workforce and Capability function in the delivery of the organisation’s strategic goals and play a key role in driving a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
  
The role will ensure high-quality end-to-end services across recruitment and retention, learning and development, payroll, workers compensation, employee and industrial relations, performance and issues management, workforce planning, compliance and reporting. The Executive Manager Workforce and Capability will drive continuous improvement, develop effective systems and workforce practices that support organisational performance and respond to changing policy, funding and service requirements.
  
The successful candidate will be a values-led, collaborative senior HR leader with broad contemporary experience and the confidence to operate across strategic, advisory and end-to-end workforce and capability delivery. They will bring highly developed relationship, communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated capability in building high-performing teams, strengthening organisational culture, supporting leaders through complex workplace matters, and embedding practical initiatives that enhance capability, engagement, compliance and service quality.
