About the role

DAWMAC INDUSTRIES is seeking a reliable and motivated Workshop Small Engine / Power Equipment Repairer to join our friendly Berrigan team. This hands-on role is suited to someone with mechanical ability, strong attention to detail, and an interest in servicing and repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair outdoor power equipment and associated components
• Carry out routine maintenance, fault finding, and mechanical repairs
• Identify, order, and fit spare parts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Provide practical customer advice and support the sales team when required

About you

• Experience with small engines, mechanical repairs, or outdoor power equipment preferred
• Practical problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Reliable, team-focused, and willing to learn
• Good communication skills and a helpful customer-focused attitude
• Basic computer skills for parts look-up and job records
• Relevant trade qualifications, mechanical background, or forklift licence would be highly regarded, but are not essential
