Business Development Manager

What We Are Looking For:

We're looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our NSW team. This is a hands-on sales role focused on developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning FLANDERS as the preferred partner for electric motor repairs, new electric motors, and engineered industrial solutions.

You'll play a key role in driving business growth across the mining, minerals, and heavy industrial sectors by identifying opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, and working closely with internal teams to provide exceptional customer outcomes. Please note, you can be based anywhere in NSW. 

Here's What You'll Do:

• Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing an established sales territory.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and identify customer needs across mining, minerals, and heavy industry.
  • Qualify opportunities, prepare quotations, and manage the sales process through to successful outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information within HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions while ensuring exceptional service and project outcomes.

Here's What You'll Need:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in territory or field-based Business Development or Technical Sales.
  • Proven experience selling technical solutions with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities.
  • Mining industry experience or knowledge of electric motors, rotating equipment, or control systems will be highly regarded.
