URGENTLY HIRING Disability Support WorkerStart Date: ASAPAvailability: Tuesdays from 7am to 2pmWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join a dedicated support team in Dee Why NSW 2099.This opportunity is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.About The Role:Provide support to a male participant.Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and attending appointments.Assist with the urostomy bag as required.Support participation in meaningful activities at home and in the community.Support the participant to maintain independence, build strength, and engage in physical activities aligned with goals.Build a positive and respectful relationship with the participant.Follow individual support plans and established care routines.Work collaboratively with family members and follow established support routines.What We're Looking For:Male carers only.Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker.Experience supporting participants living with Parkinson's Disease, Dementia, and/or complex support needs.Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community connections.Fluent in English with strong communication skills.Physically active and able to support regular outings, including long walks.Someone with interests that include surfing, motorbikes, cars & engines, and general fitness.Requirements:Driving with a full Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle.Comprehensive Car Insurance.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.Working with Children Check (WWCC) (optional).About Us:At AHS Nursing Agency, we pride ourselves on our warm, inclusive culture.
