Finance Manager

Our client is a growing, multi-site business looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function.

About the role

Reporting to the GM you will be part of a small management team. This role will manage the organisation's financial operations while also providing management with greater visibility over cash flow, forecasting, financial performance and emerging issues.

Supporting their multi site operation, you will have the opportunity to understand how the different parts of the business operate and help improve the financial processes supporting them.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for all financial and accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, banking and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Customer invoicing
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Complete annual budgets and quarterly reforecasting.
• Co-ordinate financial audit requirements as needed.
• Cashflow management .
• Oversee payroll governance and ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislative obligations.
• Complete statutory reporting obligations, including BAS, PAYG, superannuation, FBT, STP and WorkCover.

About you

• CPA or CA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
• Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in Xero (including payroll).
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
