Details

• The Roster: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM (No weekend work)
• Overtime: Available when required / optional
• Location: St Marys, NSW

Duties

• Perform comprehensive maintenance, servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles, trucks and plant machinery.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime across the operational fleet.
• Change brakes, replace worn components, and complete general mechanical fixes as needed.
• Service and maintain specialised front lift and rear lift waste management systems.
• Adhere strictly to workshop safety protocols, compliance regulations and quality maintenance standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• A Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Diesel Mechanic trade).
• Minimum 2 years of post-trade experience working on heavy vehicles or plant equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and work efficiently within a small team.
• A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a standard pre-employment medical check.

Eligibility & Clearances Please Note: Applicants must hold full Australian Work Rights and a mandatory Heavy Rigid (HR) driver licence.
