A1 Custom Stainless & Kitchens is a well-established, family-owned manufacturing business based in Burpengary East, QLD. We specialise in custom metal fabrication and commercial kitchen fit-outs. We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated Storeperson / Factory Labourer to join our team in a full-time capacity.

 The Role

This is a diverse, hands-on role where you will support our workshop operations, assist our tradespeople, and manage raw materials and completed products.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Receiving & dispatch: Unloading delivery trucks, checking incoming materials against purchase orders, and staging raw steel/components.

• Inventory control: Organising stock, packing custom items safely for transport, and completing general stock takes.

• Trades assistance: Helping fabricators handle bulky materials, operating basic factory machinery, and using hand/power tools.

• Site support: Assisting with local site deliveries and prep work when needed.

• Workshop upkeep: Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe factory floor.

 What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse, workshop, or construction fabrication environment is highly regarded but not essential.

• Licenses: A current Forklift License (LF) is essential and an manual Driver’s License.

• Fitness: Physically fit and capable of safely lifting, bending, and handling metal products throughout the day.

• Attitude: A reliable team player with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
