Sales Engineer / State Manager Elect

Our client is an Australian subsidiary of a European based manufacturer of high quality adhesive application equipment for industrial production lines throughout Australia.

At this time we are looking to employ an Experienced Sales Person to promote sales across Victoria and Tasmania. On offer to the successful candidate is the very real opportunity to step up into a full State Management role in the shorter term.

Initially your duties and responsibilities will include: 

• Prospecting and managing new sales opportunities, from inception through to installation and training.
• Account management of an existing consumables base.
• Participation in various company sponsored events, such as trade shows etc.
• Some travel both within Victoria and Interstate as required is expected.

It is also envisaged that the successful candidate will already possess the experience and professional acumen to accept responsibility for all State Operations in the near future. This would include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing all Sales and Technical functions within the Victorian branch.
• Accepting responsibility for budgeting and forecasting results.
• Ensuring the efficient running of the Melbourne office.
• Preparing operational and sales reports and presenting same to the General Manager .
