Timberline Carpentry Services is a growing Perth-based carpentry and insurance repair business, specialising in emergency make-safes, insurance repairs and general carpentry works across the Perth metropolitan area.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking Trade Labourer to join our team on an ongoing basis.

This is a hands-on role working alongside our Lead Carpenters across a wide variety of projects.

No two days are the same. You could be assisting with emergency make-safe or insurance repair works one day, completing a full demolition project the next, or working alongside our carpenters on a complete roof rebuild on a large-scale commercial site.

Our projects span residential and commercial properties, from small emergency works through to large-scale repairs and construction projects, giving you exposure to a broad range of work, sites and experience.

Working under the direction of our Lead Carpenters, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Lead Carpenters with insurance repair and general carpentry works

• Assisting with emergency and temporary make-safe works

• Assisting with residential and commercial construction and repair projects

• General demolition, site preparation and clean-up

• Installation and removal of temporary fencing and temporary protection

• Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment

• Collecting materials and completing supplier runs as required

• Assisting with the setup and pack-down of worksites

• Safely operating basic tools and equipment within your level of competency

• Following instructions and completing works as directed by the Lead Carpenter

• Maintaining clean, safe and organised worksites

• Assisting with photo documentation and general job requirements where required

You don’t need to be a qualified carpenter, but you do need to be practical, reliable and comfortable working in a construction environment.

You must have:

• Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence

• Confidence and experience towing large trailers, including tipper trailers

• White Card

• Construction or trade labouring experience preferred

• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work

• Good understanding of basic tools and construction practices

• Ability to follow direction and work effectively alongside qualified trades

• Strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in

• Reliable attendance and good time management

• Professional attitude when attending insured/customer properties

• Ability to work independently when required

Experience within insurance repairs, emergency make-safes, carpentry, demolition, roofing or residential/commercial construction would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential for the right person.

We’re open to either:

Full-Time Employee
Ongoing full-time position with pay in accordance with the applicable Award and classification, plus applicable superannuation, allowances and entitlements.

ABN Subcontractor
Approximately $30–$35 per hour, negotiable depending on experience, capability and what you bring to the role.
