Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Staff Specialists in Neonatal and Paediatrics to join the team in this permanent, part-time, 32hrs per week (negotiable) opportunity.
Mater Hospital Springfield, our state-of-the-art facility that opened in May 2026, is proud to be delivering exceptional care to our growing community. We are building a dynamic, collaborative and expert medical team to lead the way in Neonatal and Paediatric services.
Our Paediatrics unit features a 12-bed facility, while the Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU) includes 16 beds, providing comprehensive, specialised care to the most vulnerable patients.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will deliver comprehensive Neonatal and Paediatric services, contributing to on-call duties, collaborating with clinical teams and driving continuous service improvement at Mater Hospital Springfield.
About you
You are a qualified Staff Specialist (SMO) with recognised training in neonatal and paediatric care, capable of managing complex cases with clinical expertise and compassion and committed to effective communication, teaching and collaborative practice within public and private health systems.
