About the role
Quik Corp designs and manufactures heavy-duty spray equipment, fire appliances and specialised vehicle systems from our Coolum Beach facility on the Sunshine Coast.
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Fitter & Turner to join our manufacturing team.
This is an in-house manufacturing role, producing components that go directly into equipment designed, fabricated and assembled on site. You will see the parts you machine become part of complete machines, fire units and specialised equipment operating across Australia.
Operating CNC lathes and mills
Programming and setting CNC machinery
Manufacturing components from technical drawings and specifications
Producing one-off, small batch and repeat production components
Checking finished parts against required tolerances and quality standards
Working to production schedules and required completion dates
Supporting continuous improvement of machining methods, tooling and setup
Has strong CNC machining experience
Can confidently program, set and operate CNC lathes and mills
Can read and work accurately from technical drawings
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
Can work independently and plan their own work
Works well as part of a wider manufacturing team
Is dependable and able to work to production deadlines
Has a current driver's licence

Based in Coolum Beach, minutes from the coast
