SERVICE TECHNICIAN – SWIMMING POOL EQUIPMENT

About the role

Based from our Clayton facility, you will attend service, warranty and commissioning work throughout metropolitan Melbourne, with occasional regional travel when required. You will be supported by an experienced technical customer service team and receive product-specific training from our service and engineering staff.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing swimming pool pumps, filters, chlorinators, automation systems, heaters and associated equipment

• Completing warranty and after-sales service calls

• Commissioning new equipment and checking installations

• Assisting pool builders, retailers and service technicians with technical issues

• Explaining faults and solutions clearly and professionally to customers

• Completing accurate electronic service reports and uploading photographs

• Managing the tools, spare parts and stock carried in your service vehicle

• Identifying recurring faults and providing useful feedback to our engineering and product teams

• Representing Insnrg professionally when attending customer sites

About you

• Strong practical fault-finding and diagnostic ability

• Experience servicing swimming pool equipment or similar mechanical, electrical or water-treatment equipment

• Good knowledge of pool hydraulics and water chemistry, or a willingness to learn

• A professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers

• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for completing each job properly

• Good written communication and attention to detail

• Dependable attendance, punctuality and personal organisation

• A current Australian driver's licence

• The physical ability to safely handle and replace pool equipment

We are growing and are looking for a dependable and technically minded Service Technician to join our Melbourne service team.
