Contract Administrator

UNS Building Group Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Contract Administrator to join our construction team in Sydney. The successful candidate will support the commercial and contractual administration of multiple construction projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and manage construction contracts and subcontract agreements.

• Prepare and assess progress claims, variations and payment schedules.

• Monitor project costs, budgets and contractual obligations.

• Liaise with builders, subcontractors, suppliers and project managers.

• Review quotations, purchase orders, invoices and supporting documentation.

• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence and project documentation.

• Assist with procurement and subcontractor engagement.

• Identify contractual risks, delays and potential cost issues.

• Ensure project documentation complies with contract requirements and company procedures.

• Use systems such as Aconex and Microsoft Excel to manage project information and records.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in contract administration within the Australian construction industry.

• Understanding of construction contracts, progress claims, variations and subcontractor management.

• Strong organisational and document-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

• Experience with Aconex or similar construction-management systems is preferred.

• A relevant qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, business or a related field is preferred.
