About the Roles

We are expanding and seeking passionate, reliable Aviation Screening Officers to join our growing aviation security team. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations through:

• Passenger & Cabin Baggage Screening
• Access Control & Security Screening Points
• Customer & Visitor Screening Operations

Flexible rosters are available (day, night, weekends) across a 24/7 schedule, with both permanent and casual positions to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct passenger, baggage, and personal screening in line with aviation security regulations
• Operate X-ray screening equipment and screening technology effectively
• Identify prohibited items and respond appropriately to security threats
• Maintain compliance with airport security procedures and SOPs
• Provide professional customer service while ensuring safety and security standards are met
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate screening documentation
• Work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, airlines, and law enforcement agencies

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in aviation screening, aviation security, or airport operations is highly regarded
• Experienced X-ray Operators or applicants with screening qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of aviation security protocols and regulatory compliance
• High level of professionalism, observation skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and follow procedures in fast-paced environments
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Qualifications

The following are required, or willingness to obtain:
• NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
• ASIC (preferred)
• Cert II in Transport Security Protection (highly regarded)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• White Card; Fire Warden and Traffic Control
• Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence
• Experience operating X-ray screening systems (preferred)
• Ability to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks
