Your New Role
Working on a 5/2; 4/3 DIDO roster from Perth to the Southwest, enjoy the nine day fortnight schedule.  As a critical senior role at the mine site, you'll report directly to the mine GM and have a dotted line into a group commercial manager back at corporate.  You'll provide financial reporting and commercial insights, forecasts and budgets, cost control and capital management.  From discuss results, identifying trends, and reviewing costs for improvements and efficiencies, no two days will be the same.  As part of a high performing operation, you'll work very closely with mine leadership, customers, and corporate, which are viewed as one team.  You will get up to speed quickly with existing contract agreements, ensure performance as agreed, and have a seat at the negotiating table on variations, extensions, tenders, and any commercial item that comes up.

Your Profile
This is your chance to step up from contracts, business analysis, commercial analysis or similar position on your way to becoming a commercial manager.  Given the financial aspects of the role, a CA, CPA, CIMA is required for shortlisting consideration, along with tangible experience in commercial contracts, disputes, negotiations, and working with complex financial models.  It is likely you have a minimum of 8-10 years progressive related experience - though even if you have 20-30 years, that's quite OK, a hit the ground running, seasoned professional would also be very welcome.
