The Role:
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for a broad client portfolio
Work closely with the Tax & Business Services Partner
Take ownership of client portfolios and lead engagements
Manage tax compliance obligations including BAS preparation and lodgement
Build and maintain strong client relationships through tailored accounting and business advice
Mentor, support, and develop junior accountants
Deliver financial analysis and reporting to support client growth
Contribute to strategic firm initiatives and community engagement activities
About You:
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CA or CPA qualified
4+ years’ experience in Tax or Business Services within a CA or CPA Australian public practice firm
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines effectively
Experience with Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office Suite
