Trust Accountant (Part Time)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Trust Accountant to join their CBD based team. This is a part-time opportunity with complete flexibility around how the hours and days are structured, giving you the freedom to shape your work week around your lifestyle and commitments. The business is also open to considering full-time arrangements.
  
Key responsibilities will include:

• Accounting and administration of all Trust Account records (Commercial)
• Bank statements, bank reconciliations
• Input of receipts and charges such as letting fees, lease renewal fees advertising, creditor invoices etc;
• All Property Management accounts for rent roll
• Uploading budgets
• Bank reconciliation of the Trust Account - daily/weekly/monthly;
• Processing of exchange and settlement monies
• accounting to owners and landlords
• Rental adjustments & refunds
• Internal and external stakeholder relationships

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in Commercial Property Trust Accounting
• Cirrus8 experience highly advantageous
• Possess impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
• Ideally hold accounting / bookkeeping certificate
• A core understanding of commercial leases and the role of a property manager
