Peak Season Casual - Production & Packing Assistant

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Peak Season Casuals to join the Milkwick team during our busiest time of the year.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role working across both our Production and Pick & Pack teams. No two days will necessarily look the same – depending on where we need an extra set of hands, you may spend part of your shift helping produce and prepare our home fragrance products and the rest picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy, practical environment, has great attention to detail and is happy to jump in wherever needed.

What You'll Be Doing

Production

• Assisting with the production of Milkwick products, including candles, diffusers, room sprays and other home fragrance products

• Preparing vessels, bottles, packaging and components for production

• Labelling and finishing products ready for sale

• Packing finished products into cartons and preparing stock for the warehouse

• Replenishing production supplies and materials

• Following product specifications and quality-control procedures

• Keeping production areas clean, organised and ready for use

Pick, Pack & Warehouse

• Picking customer orders accurately

• Carefully packing orders ready for dispatch

• Preparing shipping labels and orders for courier collection

• Replenishing picking shelves and packing stations

• Receiving, unpacking and putting away stock and supplier deliveries

• Maintaining an organised and tidy warehouse

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

About You

We're looking for applicants who are:

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Efficient while maintaining excellent attention to detail

• Happy to perform repetitive and hands-on tasks

• Able to follow processes and instructions accurately

• Comfortable being on their feet throughout a shift

• Willing to move between production and warehouse duties as required

• Positive, flexible and happy to work as part of a team

• Available for increased hours during our busiest Black Friday and Christmas periods

Previous warehouse, pick/pack, manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Peak Season Availability

This is a casual position specifically supporting our team during our Black Friday and Christmas peak period.

Hours may vary depending on business requirements, with increased availability particularly important throughout November and December.

There may be an opportunity for ongoing casual employment after the peak season for the right candidates, however ongoing work is not guaranteed.
