About the role
Heywood Rural Health is seeking an experienced and proactive Manager, Assets, Infrastructure & Maintenance to lead the strategic management of our facilities, infrastructure, ICT assets, maintenance services and vehicle fleet. In this key leadership role, you'll ensure our assets are safe, compliant, reliable and fit for purpose, while overseeing maintenance programs, capital works, contractors and essential safety requirements. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you'll drive continuous improvement and help create facilities and infrastructure that support the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our community.
Key responsibilities
Lead the strategic management of facilities, infrastructure, ICT assets, maintenance services and vehicle fleet
Ensure assets are safe, compliant, reliable and fit for purpose
Oversee maintenance programs, capital works, contractors and essential safety requirements
Drive continuous improvement across asset and infrastructure management
Manage diverse teams and lead changes within a complex organisation
Deliver capital works, refurbishment, maintenance and infrastructure projects
Manage project, risk, quality and change management with a focus on continuous improvement
Engage stakeholders and manage relationships across the organisation
Manage financial, contract and resource management
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, governance, accreditation and compliance requirements within the public health sector
About you
Senior leadership experience managing diverse teams and leading changes within a complex organisation
Demonstrated expertise in asset, infrastructure and facilities management, including strategic planning and asset lifecycle management
Proven experience delivering capital works, refurbishment, maintenance and infrastructure projects
Strong project, risk, quality and change management capability, with a focus on continuous improvement
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, governance, accreditation and compliance requirements within the public health sector
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
Demonstrated financial, contract and resource management expertise supported by strong digital and business systems capability
Advanced digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, enterprise financial systems (such as Oracle), and asset and maintenance management systems
