Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Perth, Western Australia. This permanent, full-time role is pivotal in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving project success and contributing to our reputation in the building and construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and resources, negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within the building and construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
