Supporting the delivery of high-quality menu and catering services, you'll ensure compliance with nutrition, menu and food safety standards while contributing to exceptional patient and resident experiences.

As a trusted subject matter expert, you'll provide specialist advice, champion best practice, and drive service innovation and continuous improvement aligned with organisational goals. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you'll build capability, support and mentor staff, and play a key role in enhancing service quality, safety and outcomes across the network. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Do you hold a Certificate 3 (or higher) in Commercial Cooking?
• Can you demonstrate effective leadership skills, including strong capabilities in communication?
• Do you have experience in large-scale food preparation and menu planning within a residential setting?
• Can you manage your time effectively, working independently, and making sound decisions without direct supervision?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

• Contribute to leadership activities by supporting service planning, goal setting and evaluation within BHFLHN Corporate Services.
• Lead the development and implementation of seasonal menus aligned with nutrition standards, incorporating stakeholder input while ensuring supplier consistency and cost efficiency.
• Mentor staff and coordinate and deliver training, guidance and development for catering staff to enhance skills, service quality and consistency across the LHN.
• Support quality, compliance and reporting activities across food and nutrition services, including audits, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
