About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead operations across our Nambucca communities, covering both short-stay and long-stay accommodation. This role oversees service standards, the resident and guest lifecycle, compliance, financial performance, facilities, workplace health and safety, and team leadership. At Nambucca Heads, the role will also support the active development program through to completion in late 2026, partnering with the Development team on settlements, handovers, defect management and transition into operations.

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations across accommodation, common facilities and community spaces, ensuring all areas are presented to standard.
• Lead and coordinate on-site team members, housekeeping, maintenance teams, consultants and contractors.
• Manage organised group stays, including school and educational camp programs, arrivals, departures and daily requirements.
• Build strong relationships with residents, guests, group organisers, schools, tourism operators and the broader Nambucca community.
• Act as the escalation point for operational issues, enquiries, complaints, disputes and group requirements.
• Oversee reservations, occupancy reporting, forward bookings, group schedules, financial transactions and site administration.
• Manage budget delivery, occupancy and rate card performance, arrears, purchasing and cost control across both sites.
• Ensure compliance with the Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act 2013, including site fees, disclosure obligations, community rules and Residents Committee engagement.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, contractor supervision, cabin and site turnover, pool and plant compliance, grounds presentation and inspections.
• Maintain WHS standards, including emergency planning, risk registers, incident reporting and staff and contractor inductions.
• Support new home settlements, handover inspections, defect management and transition of completed stages into operations.
• Monitor guest experience, group feedback, service standards and online reputation, identifying improvements where required.

What do you bring?

You are an experienced accommodation, tourism, hospitality or community management professional who is confident leading daily operations, supervising teams and managing diverse stakeholders. You bring strong communication, conflict resolution and relationship management skills, with a practical approach to compliance, safety, maintenance and financial performance. Experience in regional tourism, land-lease communities, emergency response protocols or First Aid certification will be highly regarded.
