About the role
We've taken over the kitchen and dining at a well established hotel bistro in Ballarat North. The venue has been part of the local area for years and has a steady base of regulars. We're putting a front of house team together to work alongside the new kitchen.
Key responsibilities
Setting up sections and running the roster on the day
Taking bookings and functions
Handling the till and end of shift
Keeping service ticking along when it gets busy
Being the point of contact for casuals on a shift
Being the first point of contact for guests if something needs sorting
Taking orders and running food
Clearing and resetting tables
Keeping the room tidy
Looking after guests as they come through
About you
Previous experience in a pub or bistro would help
Comfort with the paperwork side of things
Reliable and enjoys working with people
