Field Service Technician

Our client is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of domestic and commercial washing and cleaning appliances. We are seeking an experienced and friendly Field Service Technician to join their ranks in Western Australia, based in Perth's southern suburbs. This position is focused on the full range of domestic appliances including kitchen and laundry applications. You day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Installation and servicing of machinery in the field and providing outstanding customer service
• Providing initial user operation training as required
• Fault finding/troubleshooting machine breakdowns
• Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Completion of required service reports/paperwork

In order to thrive, our successful candidate will possess the following:

• A trade background in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline
• At a minimum, a Restricted Electrical licence
• Competency/experience in troubleshooting and repairing machinery or appliances
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously to a high standard

Ideally you will have experience in appliances, however other trade experience (refrigeration, HVAC, gasfitting etc) will be considered as full product training will be provided.
