What’s the role?

Ready to make a real impact in your local community? As a Local Business Banker, you'll partner with small business customers across Armidale, Tamworth and surrounding regional communities, helping them grow, invest and achieve their ambitions.

Working from one of our Westpac branches, you'll combine your passion for relationship banking with your expertise in business and home lending. You'll spend your time connecting with customers, building referral partnerships, and becoming a trusted banking partner for local businesses. No two days will be the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the customers and communities you support.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Armidale, Tamworth or a surrounding regional location, depending on the successful candidate's location.

What do I need?

• Experience in Small Business Banking and Home Lending, ideally within a Branch 
• A proven ability to build new business opportunities and grow customer relationships
• Strong networking and relationship building skills with a customer first mindset
• A track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences and exceeding expectations
• Strong organisational skills and confidence managing your workload independently
