Clocktower Hotel – Carlton

We’re looking for a smart, reliable and hands-on person to join the team at Clocktower Hotel in Carlton.

This is a little different from your typical cleaning job. You’ll be helping across the hotel with a combination of cleaning, guest-ready preparation and minor administration, so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, learns quickly and can be trusted to get things done without being constantly supervised.

What you’ll be doing

Your role will include a mix of:

• Cleaning and maintaining guest areas and facilities
• Preparing our innovative sleeping capsule accommodation for guests
• Keeping rooms, common areas and facilities clean, tidy and presentable
• Restocking supplies and checking that everything is guest-ready
• Assisting with basic hotel administration and organisation
• Helping with simple day-to-day operational tasks
• Identifying things that need attention and taking initiative to fix or report them
• Providing a friendly, professional experience for our guests

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Fast, efficient and switched-on
• Reliable and genuinely takes pride in their work
• Comfortable working independently
• Detail-oriented and organised
• Friendly and professional around guests
• Happy doing practical cleaning work as well as basic admin
• A quick learner who can adapt to new systems and tasks
• Ideally living locally around Carlton or nearby suburbs
• Available to start as soon as possible

You don't need to have years of hotel experience. Attitude, reliability and common sense are more important to us.
