Mount Carmel College is seeking passionate, dedicated and student-focused Primary Teachers to join our thriving school community. Multiple permanent and contract full-time positions are available commencing in Term 1, 2027.

About You

We are seeking teachers who have:

• Current Teacher Registration in South Australia.
• Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education South Australia, or a willingness to obtain accreditation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning practices and the Australian Curriculum.
• The ability to create positive, inclusive and safe learning environments that foster student wellbeing and achievement.
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using assessment data to monitor student progress and inform teaching practice.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
• A commitment to safeguarding practices and supporting the wellbeing of all students.
• Proficient ICT skills and the ability to effectively utilise educational technologies to enhance learning.
