AAP Industries is a market leader in the distribution of high quality pipe fittings and valves, servicing the plumbing, irrigation, petro chemical and engineering markets.

An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Forklift driver/Picker/Packer. 

This is a role that provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and hard working individual, who is energetic and reliable; a person who is aware of risk management and abides by all WH&S Policies and Procedures.

The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to: -

• Manually picking and packing of parts

• Unloading and loading trucks using the forklift

• Stocking shelves

• Transfers to other branches

• Cycle counts

• Housekeeping

• Other

Desirable Criteria: -

• Customer service skills

• Good written oral skills

• Has a good knowledge of measurements and is able to add/subtract

• Basic computer knowledge

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Has a strong work ethic

• Be able to work reasonable overtime if required including Saturdays

The ideal candidate will have: -

• A current forklift license with photo ID

• Safety awareness and team attitude

• Good attention to detail

• A passion to learn and develop

Wage will depend on experience
