Australian Polytechnic College (APC) is seeking experienced and committed Trainer and Assessors for our Melbourne and Sydney campuses. The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services in accordance with APC's training and assessment strategies, academic standards, and compliance requirements.
Sydney:
Diploma of Civil Construction Design (CPC50220)
Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)
Melbourne:
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (CPC30620)
Hospitality Courses (Including Cert IV in KM, DHM, ADHM)
Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (FNS40222)
Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (ICT60220)
Deliver structured and effective lessons in accordance with the training and assessment strategy and unit requirements
Conduct classroom, workshop, and practical training sessions relevant to the course area
Assess student performance and make sound assessment decisions in line with VET requirements
Mark assessments and provide clear, relevant, and timely feedback to students
Support student progress, participation, and completion of assessments
Maintain accurate academic, attendance, assessment, and reporting records
Participate in validation, moderation, and quality assurance activities as required
Comply with APC policies, VET requirements, and all relevant regulatory standards
TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Relevant qualification(s) in the course area being delivered
Demonstrated VET sector knowledge and experience
Current industry currency relevant to the training area
Strong understanding of lesson delivery, practical assessment, and assessment marking responsibilities
Good organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills
Experience delivering training within an RTO environment
Experience using Moodle or other learning management systems
Experience participating in validation, moderation, or compliance activities
Strong student support and engagement skills
