Formwork Carpenter

FORMWORK CARPENTERKPI Labour Hire is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to join our growing team for ongoing projects across Melbourne and regional Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on EBA rates with leading civil and infrastructure contractors, across substations, terminal stations, data centres, bridges, pump stations and major industrial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality formwork while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship and teamwork.Key responsibilities:Erecting, setting and stripping formwork to drawings and specificationsWall, column, slab, deck, beam, footing and pit formworkAssembling and installing formwork panels, metal props, soldiers, walers, brackets and clampsWorking with proprietary formwork systemsSetting out, levelling, plumbing and squaring formwork prior to pourAssisting with concrete pouring, screeding and finishing worksStripping, cleaning, repairing and stacking formwork for reusePerforming steel fixing, conduit laying and pipe laying activities as requiredReading and interpreting drawings, plans and specificationsDelivering work safely, on time and to a high standard of qualityMaintaining compliance with site safety procedures and company policiesWorking collaboratively with supervisors, operators and construction crewsWhat we're looking for:;Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade qualifications, or demonstrated formwork experienceMinimum 2 years' experience in formwork, carpentry or civil constructionDemonstrated experience assembling and installing formwork systemsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to perform physically demanding manual labourCurrent Construction Induction (White Card)Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and best practicesWillingness to work across various project locations throughout VictoriaExperience with proprietary formwork systems is highly regardedExperience in steel fixing, conduit laying or pipe laying is advantageousExposure to substations, terminal stations or data centre projects is highly regardedVESI training and plant equipment tickets are advantageousWilling to undergo a Medical and Police CheckWhat we offer:EBA rates for your classificationOngoing work across a rolling program of major projectsVariety of work with leading civil and infrastructure contractorsSite allowances and travel where applicable
