Asset Data Analyst
Full-time – Ongoing
Position Number: 6903 Location: Queanbeyan
The Package: $99,242 - $109,664.36 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in 2027-28 and 4% in 2028-2029.
Full - time - 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered.
Are you passionate about data and enjoy using insights to support better decision-making? Council is seeking a skilled and analytical individual to join our Assets Team as an Asset Data Analyst.
In this role you will:
· Analyse, maintain and improve Council’s infrastructure asset data and registers, ensuring information is accurate, reliable and supports asset lifecycle planning, risk management and capital works.
· Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualisations and GIS information to provide practical insights into asset condition, performance, risk, costs and investment priorities.
· Provide technical advice and support to internal stakeholders on asset data, systems and reporting, while working with service delivery teams to support asset capitalisation and continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone who:
· Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, information systems, data analytics, GIS, business, finance or a related discipline, and/or has demonstrated relevant experience.
· Has experience with enterprise asset management systems, data governance, asset registers and data analysis, with experience using TechnologyOne, Power BI or similar systems highly regarded.
· Has strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
