About the role
Act as the primary point of contact for a key multinational fund SPV client in Australia, ensuring seamless end-to-end service delivery.
Oversee and coordinate finance operations, including daily accounting transactions, management reporting, payment management, internal controls, financial statements, tax, payroll, contributions and distributions, company secretarial, and corporate statutory compliance.
Collaborate closely with the client's finance team on accounting, financial reporting, tax matters, entity management, and reporting requirements.
Ensure financial records are maintained and reported in accordance with Australian accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, AASB-compliant financial statements, annual reporting, and audit management.
Coordinate vendor management, accounts payable, recharge, and expense management processes across onshore and offshore teams.
Manage end-to-end corporate secretarial and entity governance activities, including ASIC compliance.
Coordinate and oversee service delivery across local and global shared service teams, ensuring agreed service levels (SLAs) are consistently achieved.
Drive operational improvements through process standardisation, simplification, technology adoption, and effective utilisation of shared service centres.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, auditors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality client experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA Australia or CA ANZ qualified.
5–10 years of experience in audit, advisory, corporate accounting, or financial accounting.
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and experience preparing statutory financial statements.
Proven experience managing corporate accounting functions within a high-volume transaction environment.
Proven experience in corporate secretarial or company secretary functions within Australia.
Knowledge of Australian fund investment structures is highly desirable.
Strong project management skills with a corporate finance focus.
Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, auditors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
