How You’ll Shine

This varied role combines front office and guest service responsibilities with engaging eligible guests and booking them into onsite sales presentations. You’ll also assist with light café-style duties.

You’ll bring energy, warmth and a proactive approach as you:

Welcome Owners and Guests and assist throughout their stayManage check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest enquiriesBuild rapport with guests and identify opportunities to invite them to an onsite sales presentationClearly explain the presentation experience and secure guest bookingsWork towards presentation booking targets while maintaining a positive guest experienceRespond to telephone and email enquiriesShare local recommendations and assist with tours and bookingsPrepare barista-style coffee and heat and serve a small selection of foodAssist with luggage and other guest requestsComplete cash handling, payment reconciliation and night-audit duties

What You’ll Bring

Experience in hotel reception, guest services, customer service or a sales-focused environmentA natural ability to build rapport and confidently start conversationsA proactive, target-driven approach without compromising the guest experienceConfidence preparing coffee and completing simple food service dutiesA current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificateA current Food Safety certificateStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA positive, energetic and reliable attitudeProfessional presentation and groomingAvailability across a seven-day roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and school holidaysA current driver’s licence is preferred
