Receptionist

The Practice:
Recruitly is partnering with a well-established medical clinic based in Melbourne’s inner east. We’re looking for an experienced Receptionist who can step in on a temporary basis and provide a warm, welcoming and professional first point of contact for clients.

The Role:
As the first point of contact for the clinic, you’ll manage reception and the front-of-house experience with warmth, discretion and professionalism. Supported by a close-knit team, your days will be varied and people-focused.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Answering phones and directing enquiries appropriately
• Welcoming clients and providing a warm and professional first point of contact
• Managing reception and day-to-day front desk operations
• Maintaining client files with care, accuracy and discretion
• Inbox management and composing professional correspondence
• Liaising with external professionals to collect and coordinate documentation
• Coordinating practitioner calendars and appointments
• Ordering office and kitchen supplies
• Coordinating deliveries and general office requirements
• Ensuring reception and waiting areas are calm, tidy and well-presented

While you’ll have support from the wider team, this is a largely autonomous role and ideal for someone who is comfortable stepping into an established environment, picking things up quickly and being the friendly, trusted presence at the front of the clinic.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House or similar client-facing role
• A warm, mature and professional manner
• Natural empathy and confidence communicating with a range of clients
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A reliable, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
• Strong computer literacy and polished presentation
• Experience within a medical, allied health or similar professional environment would be advantageous
• Availability to commence at short notice and commit to the duration of the assignment
