ZW Industries Pty Ltd is establishing a ready-mix concrete batching operation in Swanbank, Queensland. We are committed to building a high-performing, reliable and customer-focused business with a long-term vision for growth across South East Queensland.

As we prepare to commence operations, we are seeking an experienced Concrete Batching Plant Manager to lead the establishment of the plant, build the operations team and develop the systems and processes that will support the long-term success of the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the batching plant

• Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently

• Coordinate dispatch and delivery schedules

• Maintain product quality and batching accuracy

• Lead the operations team, and foster a strong safety culture

• Develop operating procedures and systems

• Work closely with customers and suppliers

• Manage production costs, and improve plant efficiency and profitability

• Coordinate preventative maintenance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, safety, environmental and quality requirements

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing a ready-mix concrete batching plant

• Sound knowledge of concrete production, plant operations and logistics

• Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• A hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Experience establishing or commissioning a concrete batching plant will be highly regarded
