An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and commercially minded Accountant to join the finance team at Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role includes financial reporting and analysis, asset and liability reconciliations, oversight of the finance team while supporting the business with financial insights across a diverse hospitality and entertainment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly financial reporting and financial analysis across multiple sites, including journals and reconciliations.
Managing and oversight of the fixed asset register and depreciation.
Maintaining compliance with statutory obligations including BAS, Taxes and other statutory reporting requirements.
Assist with annual financial reporting and year end processes.
Provide analytical support to identify opportunities to improve productivity, systems and processes.
Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and to provide financial insights.
Successful Candidates will bring:
Tertiary qualifications or higher in Accounting and/or Finance.
Minimum of three years’ experience in an Accountant role.
Strong accounting experience in monthly financial reporting and systems management.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong financial analysis, business partnering and support capability.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and reporting.
Strong organisational skills to ensure that tasks are completed within deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Technology One ERP system will be highly regarded.
A proactive mindset and drive to meet KPIs and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
Experience within hospitality, clubs or multi-site operations (highly regarded).
