You will play a key role in connecting our aftersales and technical functions, ensuring our teams have the knowledge, tools and support they need to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About the Role

As Technical Manager, you will be a key technical point of contact across JETOUR Australia, supporting our aftersales operational teams while ensuring technical requirements are understood, communicated and delivered effectively.

You will work closely with internal teams and technical stakeholders to provide expert advice, resolve technical matters and contribute to continuous improvement across our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage technical specifications for vehicles, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities

• Provide expert technical support and guidance to the aftersales team, helping them confidently communicate vehicle features, specifications and capabilities to customers

• Oversee technical documentation, manuals, specifications and other technical resources to ensure information is accurate, current and accessible

• Act as a key link between dealer representatives and technical teams to investigate and resolve technical queries and concerns

• Conduct technical assessments and vehicle inspections to support quality, compliance and customer satisfaction

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for dealers, support and other relevant teams

• Monitor vehicle performance data, identify trends and technical issues, and recommend appropriate actions

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop practical technical solutions

• Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, product feedback and customer insights

• Identify opportunities to improve technical processes, knowledge and customer experience as JETOUR Australia continues to grow

What we're looking for

We're looking for an automotive professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience in a technical, engineering or product support role within the automotive industry

• Strong knowledge of vehicle specifications, automotive systems and technical standards

• The ability to translate complex technical information into clear and practical advice for different audiences

• Experience supporting or leading technical, cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail

• Experience working with technical documentation, databases and information systems

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• A valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to conduct vehicle assessments and inspections

• Relevant qualifications in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded

• Experience in aftersales support, product training or a customer facing technical environment will be highly regarded
