About us:
Maryborough West State School is a long-established Prep-Year 6 primary school which also includes as Early Childhood Development Program (ECPD) which provides services to support children with a disability or suspected disability to have a strong start to education through positive and confident transitions to kindergarten and school.
The school is committed to ensuring all students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be informed and active citizens by providing opportunities for them to achieve excellence in academic, cultural and sporting endeavours within a school culture which supports and celebrates success.
Your opportunity:
The incoming principal requires strong strategic and instructional leadership skills and a commitment to leading an inclusive educational community through high-quality practices.
The successful applicant should have the skills to lead and manage the alignment of the intended to planned to enacted curriculum and build staff capability in line with ongoing curriculum reform.
The successful applicant will be required to work in partnership with families, community and other agencies to support the educational achievement, belonging and engagement of all students and ensure a collective accountability for school improvement in response to new educational priorities, changing enrolment trends and evolving social and local contexts.
