Automotive Technician

Range Ford is part of Regent Motors Group, a growing automotive group operating dealerships across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our professional and supportive service team in Maddington.

We are looking for a motivated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and can confidently diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

• Completing mechanical repairs to a high standard

• Inspecting vehicles and advising on any additional work required

• Performing engine, transmission, brake, steering and suspension repairs

• Conducting road tests and final vehicle assessments

• Accurately recording completed work and required parts

• Following manufacturer, warranty and dealership procedures

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Working closely with the Workshop Controller, Service Advisors and wider service team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recognised automotive trade qualification

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

• Sound mechanical and automotive knowledge

• A commitment to quality workmanship and completing repairs correctly the first time

• Good communication and time-management skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A strong focus on workplace safety and customer service

• A current C Class driver’s licence

• Ford or dealership experience is desirable but not essential
