Part Time Bookkeeper

Our client is a small and growing not for profit organisation in the education sector based in Bracken Ridge. To assist the finance team, they are looking for a part time (0.6 FTE) temporary bookkeeper until mid December. An immediate start is available and preferred. There is plenty of flexibility to manage the hours across the week to suit your schedule and you can WFH for the majority of the time after the initial training and onboarding is completed.
  
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of operational accounting tasks including:
  

• End to end accounts payable (using Xero and Approval Max)
• Credit card and expense reconciliation (using Weel)
• Grant and funding lodgements and reconciliations 
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Bank transfers
• Accounts receivable
• Monitoring the accounts team inbox 
• Some adhoc tasks as required

  
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced bookkeeper and immediately available or available at short notice. You will be skilled in managing the above tasks and comfortable working independently and autonomously once trained. You will be accurate with a strong attention to detail and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be comfortable committing to the duration of this assignment and happy with part time work.
