State Franchise Development Manager (NSW) – Remote

We’re looking for a commercially minded Franchise Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to our Franchise Partners in NSW, helping them grow sales, improve profitability, enhance customer experience, and build high-performing businesses.

This is a newly created role based in the field where you’ll work closely with franchise business owners across your region, using data-driven insights, coaching, and influence to deliver sustainable commercial outcomes whilst protecting Drummond Golf brand standards and operational excellence.

The Role

• Partner with Franchise Partners to develop business plans, sales strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Analyse business performance, financial results, and key retail KPIs to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
• Conduct regular business reviews and provide coaching on sales, profitability, labour, inventory, and operational performance.
• Support Franchise Partners to build capable teams through recruitment, onboarding, training, and leadership development.
• Drive compliance with brand, merchandising, operational, and customer experience standards.
• Advise on inventory management, stock control, shrinkage reduction, and business risk management.
• Act as the key link between Head Office and the franchise network, supporting the implementation of commercial and marketing initiatives.
• Build strong relationships and influence positive business outcomes through coaching rather than direct authority.

About You

You’ll be an experienced commercial leader with a passion for helping business owners succeed.

We’d like to bring to this role:

• 3-5+ years’ experience in franchise support, business development, regional management, retail operations, or a similar commercial advisory role
• Proven experience managing P&L performance, budgets, and multi-site retail KPIs.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights
• Exceptional relationship-building, coaching, and influencing skills.
• Experience working within a franchise environment and partnering with independent business owners would be looked upon favourably
• Confidence presenting performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
• You will need to have a current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the NSW area are essential. A car allowance will be provided.
• Knowledge of golf would be advantageous
