About the Role

This process may be used to fill APS6 positions across the Practice Quality Branch, including roles assessing behaviour support practitioner suitability, assessing behaviour support plan quality, preparing policy guidance and advice on matters relating to Positive Behaviour Support, and managing unauthorised restrictive practice notifications.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:



• Draft complex internal and external professional correspondence and guidance related to behaviour support and restrictive practices. 
• Monitor and respond to external enquiries, referrals, and engaging in stakeholder consultation. 
• Under supervision, lead the development of project work related to positive behaviour support and the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices. 
• Understanding the intended audience and utilising contemporary approaches and frameworks, assist in the development of resources to support compliance activities and build capability with NDIS providers and practitioners.
