Optical Receptionist/Assistant - Part-time | Norwood, SA

At T&M Optometry, we're on the lookout for a warm, reliable, and organized individual to join our close-knit team in the heart of Norwood as an Optical Receptionist/Assistant.

In this role, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes patients, keeps the day running smoothly, and supports our optometrists in delivering exceptional care. If you enjoy helping others, staying organized, and being part of a positive, people-focused workplace - we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

• Greeting and assisting patients with professionalism and warmth

• Booking and managing appointments for our four optometrists

• Handling phone calls, emails, and general patient enquiries

• Keeping the reception and waiting areas tidy and welcoming

• Processing payments via EFTPOS, HICAPS, and Medicare

• Supporting patient records and general admin (scanning, filing, emailing)

• Assisting our dispensing team and handling general reception duties

What we're looking for:

• A friendly, approachable personality with great communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and a love of organisation

• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office

• A team player who's proactive and enjoys a fast-paced environment

• Experience as an optical assistant or in reception is helpful, but not essential
