About the role
This leading European company specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of Capital Equipment (machines & systems), for industries such as Furniture, Construction, Automotive and Aerospace – These customers use these innovative machines to transform materials into products across wood, glass, plastic, metal, stone, and composite materials.
Reporting into a Melbourne based National Service Manager, (Head office is Sydney based), this Field Service Technical position will see you responsible for travelling throughout NSW metro & regional, to provide support to customers through inspections, installations, commissioning, and ongoing service support of these high net value machines, acting as a key technical and customer contact on site, ensuring work is delivered safely & efficiently.
Your day to day work, will see you performing regular site inspections and service as well as auditing, testing, installation, commissioning, warranty and breakdown support. Where required, you will provide efficient practical solutions to any technical issues for installation (including post).
Naturally this will involve strong communication with key internal company stakeholders as well as establishing strong working relationships with site personnel and contractors.
These responsibilities will see you working in line with agreed timeframes and quality expectations, ensuring all work is completed, is done so safely, and in line with WHS requirements.
It is essential that applicants present with current or recent CNC Machinery Service experience which will be remunerated with a very generous, salary based package including additional items offered, such as superannuation, car allowance + fuel card, tool allowance, phone allowance, e-tag and travel allowance (as required).
