About the Role

As we head into our Peak Season, we have open vacancies for casual Strappers to join our afternoon shift at our Arndell Park facility. This is an integral and hands on role within both our Sydney operation and business as a whole.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing vehicles for loading and unloading, including drawing back curtains and removing gates in a safe and effective manner.

• Strapping and securing loads onto vehicles or pallets according to company protocols and safety standards.

• Scanning and tracking freight accurately using electronic devices or paperwork systems.

• Assisting in the organisation and categorisation of freight within the yard for efficient retrieval and dispatch.

• Conducting regular cleaning and tidying of the yard area to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

• Performing minor maintenance tasks such as cleaning gardens, basic maintenance of yard equipment, and addressing any visible damages or hazards.

• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to appropriate personnel for resolution.

• Adherence to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance with safety regulations.

• Address any discrepancies or issues related to loading, scanning, or documentation promptly to prevent delays or errors.

• WHS and COR compliance.

Key qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in working within a fast paced, high volume transport environment is desirable.

• Strapping experience is desired but not essential.

• Ability to adhere to OHS & Safety Regulations.

• Work in a team environment.
