Your Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Hand, Food Service Assistant or Catering Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

• Setting up and delivering food and drink trolleys
• Preparing and plating meals, including texture-modified foods and fluids
• Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads and snacks
• Recording food temperatures and maintaining food safety standards
• Washing dishes and maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen areas
• Following infection control and food hygiene procedures
• Working with modified diets in accordance with IDDSI guidelines
• Assisting with meal service and general kitchen duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a Kitchen Hand, Food Service Assistant, Catering Attendant or similar food services role within an Aged Care or Hospital environment
• Knowledge and experience with modified diets and IDDSI guidelines
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and infection control requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current COVID-19 vaccinations
• 2026 Influenza Vaccination
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
