As KTrans continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Bulk Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the success of our Bulk Operations division.

About the Role:

• Based in Welshpool, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across our Bulk Operations division.
• Working closely with our dedicated team of drivers, customers and internal stakeholders, you’ll help ensure we deliver safe, reliable and high-quality service, while supporting the continued success of our operations.
• This is a hands-on frontline leadership role suited to someone who understands the transport industry, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support and develop a team of professional drivers, creating a positive and accountable team culture.
• Coordinate the daily allocation of trucks, trailers and drivers to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
• Plan and distribute daily routes, including the dispatch, routing and tracking of vehicles.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, control costs and support revenue growth across the division.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are available and appropriately scheduled to meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate and forecast servicing, repairs and maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain operational reliability.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring safe work practices are understood, followed and actively promoted across the team.
• Contribute to incident, damage and safety investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and deliver practical solutions.

About You:

• You’re an experienced transport professional and people leader who enjoys being close to the operation and making things happen.
• Proven experience supervising or leading teams within the transport and logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of bulk transport operations.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate trucks, trailers and drivers effectively.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• A sound understanding of AMMS and PBS network requirements.
• A strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices.
• Experience supporting the recruitment, training and development of team members.
