The opportunity
Our Sydney Accounting and Tax Division offers exposure to diverse career pathways, including tax advisory, compliance, outsourced finance functions and general accounting and tax services.

In our corporate tax team, you’ll partner with a wide range of clients – from innovative start-ups to established multinationals – across industries like technology, property, and financial services

The role involves:

• Prepare, review and finalise tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and fringe benefit tax returns
• Prepare consolidated tax returns and assist with tax consolidation issues
• Oversee the preparation and review of electronic work paper files
• Review of tax provision calculations to support our assurance division clients
• Provide detailed written tax advice on a wide range of taxation issues, including but not limited to transfer pricing and other international tax issues, payroll tax, FBT, indirect taxes, corporate income tax, tax structuring
• Assist the team with technical training and mentoring of junior staff

About you
You’re someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, professional environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes. You’ll bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm
• Relevant degree and CA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team
