ICT Operations Manager

Are you a proactive ICT operations professional who enjoys bringing people, priorities and resources together to support successful delivery?

Land Services SA is seeking an ICT Operations Manager to lead workforce planning, resource management and operational performance across our ICT function. You will work closely with ICT leaders, Finance, People & Culture and key stakeholders to ensure resources are effectively deployed, demand is met, and workforce and financial plans support successful project and service delivery.

This is a fixed-term contract for 24-months and is offered as full-time or part-time basis (FTE 0.6 or 0.8) as negotiated with the successful incumbent.

What you'll do

• Lead ICT workforce planning, resource allocation and capacity management.

• Manage ICT workforce and revenue budgets, forecasts and operational reporting.

• Partner with leaders to optimise resource utilisation and productivity.

• Oversee workforce demand forecasting and resource planning across projects and business priorities.

• Manage vendor and contractor relationships to support delivery requirements.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, capability development and succession planning initiatives.

• Contribute to ICT strategy execution and operational improvement activities.

• Drive opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve operational efficiency.

• Strong financial, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.

• Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

• Experience managing competing priorities in a complex delivery environment.

• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.

• A collaborative, strategic and results-focused approach.

• Experience within ICT, technology services, project delivery or workforce planning environments will be highly regarded.
